Originally sold by the Daylock Corporation which was in the Flat Iron Building in Manhattan, New York City, N.Y, later the spinoff Embosograf Company aptly named itself after their technology and relocated to the Chicago, Illinois area. Today the Embosograf Company still is in business in Chicago, and for at least sixty years has produced hard plastic advertising signs for breweries from all over the U.S. and also for soda manufacturers with the Coca-Cola company being one of their prolific customers. Many of the signs from the 1950’s through the 1980’s have decals on the backside of the item with the companies logo and contact information on the sticker.
