Drako Coffee Tin, Easton, PA. Circa 1920's

The Drake and Company coffee manufacturer which was based in Easton, PA was a very successful company at one time. Their flagship brand was Drako Coffee, obviously a takeoff of the Drake Company name, and with an easy tie into to a drake mallard duck as shown on the image of the can label. This can is a one pound can, however, the brand came in several weight styles to accommodate the needs of the customer.


The Drake Company based in Easton, Pennsylvania was a well known jobber for tobacco, flour, coffee, and other General Store related merchandise in the early 1900’s.
