This is a beautiful lithographic poster from the M. Hommel Champagne and Wine Company in Sandusky, Ohio. Circa 1900, this lithograph has heavy metal hanging ends on both the top and the bottom with a hook near the top center for easy displaying purposes. This business ended with the start of prohibition, but apparently was very successful given the awards which are notated on the lithograph, including the Columbia Exposition in Chicago in 1893 to help sell the products.
