Andrew Lohr Bottling Works, Tin Serving Tray, Temperance Drinks, Cairo, Illinois

Circa 1910, a rare and beautiful metal serving tray from the Andrew Lohr Bottling Company in Cairo, IL.  This company also produced beer at one time and has a plethora of old blob and hutchinson or hutch style soda bottles from the 1800s and early 1900s. The building was vacant for years and finally was torn down about 2000.  Andrew Lohr also produced a stoneware soda bottle which is very uncommon for the state of Illinois.   The Lohr Company produced one other tin soda serving tray which features a soda bottle in the center of it with a bluish center background. Circa 1910, aThe White Star brand was their flagship brand and I also have an etched glass with the name White Star from Cairo as well.
