Here is an early reverse on glass sign framed in a gesso frame from the Olympia Brand of beer, out of Olympia, WA.  It’s made from Tumwater, and this slogan has lasted for years, as did the horseshoe brand design in the center with the waterfall.   This early pre-prohibition sign is from about 1900-1905.

Shown here is an early 1900’s era tin sign from the Quaker Oats Company, advertising their Quaker Flour, sold in cotton bags.  Quaker Oats had a plant in Canada as shown on the bag.  Known the world over, for every baking purposes, the sign incorporates a colonel quaker gentlemen in the advertisement.
