The Baxter Cigar brand certainly played their Drum Cigar brand well, as they created a advertising slogan saying they beat all. What a better connotation of beating your competitors with a drum? Certainly some early Madison Avenue Marketer developed the campaign which made sense. However, the Baxter Drum Brand is no longer with us. But their advertising lives on for us with great signage like the one shown.
