I always liked this pre prohibition era brewery tray simply because of the name of the beer…Nulife. This bottled beer tray was used as a change maker for the bar or saloon patron and helped advertise the Sioux City Iowa brewery named the Interstate-Brewing Co. The bottle is a capped bottle, meaning it was produced after 1905 most likely when caps replaced their cork lined capped predecessor. This tray has a paper label bottle on it and is very colorful!
The Interstate-Brewing Company was a pre-prohibition era brewery based in Sioux City, IA. Located at the intersection of W. First and Hamilton, the brewery was in business from 1907-1916 and later reopened upon the repeal of prohibition in 1933 as the Sioux City Brewing Co. Their trademark brand of beer was the Western Brew.
