Here is a beautiful stoneware pottery jug from about 1910 with a nice label for the Clarksville Cider Company which was based in St. Louis, MO at the time. This company was a huge seller of apple vinegar, but also other cider like products including other fruits. Many of the fruits were grown in the Clarksville, Missouri area, however, the company had other locations, including their home office down on the St. Louis Mississippi riverfront warehouse area. This crock along with many other jugs and glasses from the company are found by collectors today. I love Clarksville Cider items, so please let me know if you have any to sell. Best wishes!
