This particular tin tobacco container featuring a great image of a warrior Mohawk tribe Indian Chief on it has always been a favorite for me. The vivid and striking color combination and the large image of the Native American Indian Chief in his full headdress makes it a collector’s favorite for many tobacco tin collectors. This tin has a lid on the top which comes off easily to expose the tobacco to the pipe or cigarette user.
The Mohawk Chief brand of tobacco was made by The Charles Company, or Co. This establishment was based in York, Pennsylvania, just outside of the Philadelphia, PA metro area.
