The Artkraft Sign Company

The Artkraft Sign Company originally started their business in 1897 and was then known as the Strauss Sign Company, based out of New York City.

Eventually another sign company named Artkraft merged with Strauss, creating Artkraft-Strauss, also in NYC.

Artkraft’s sister company was a company by the name of Biltmore Sign Company, which was based in Lima, OH.  Biltmore Sign Co. was known for making many neon signs.
