Featured is a stunning reverse on glass sign from the C.S. Rogers Distillery which was based in Hudson, New York. This sign is from the 1900 era and is for their Private Stock 1875 Whiskey Brand.
This is a very unusual Oolong Tea brand general store Tea Bin made for The C. F. Blanke Coffee, Tea & Spice Company based in St. Louis, MO, circa 1900. The Oolong brand of tea was a very popular brand around the 1900 era.
Circa 1904 Stoneware Coffee pot from the C.F. Blanke Coffee and Spice Company, originally based in Saint Louis, MO, but eventually in many markets in the Middle of the United States. While some Blanke coffee pots are commonly found advertising the Faust Brand of coffee, this particular one is very rare, and was probably used during the 1904 Worlds Fair in St. Louis as the Blanke company sponsored an asian garden, and this is the only item I have ever seen with the asian theme to it. I suspect this might have been used during the fair in the pavilion. i am aware of two of these pitchers to date.
A great prohibition era cereal beverage sign for the Buscho brand manufactured by the John B. Busch Brewing Company in Washington, MO. Circa 1919. The Buscho brand was introduced at the beginning of prohibition as a soda alternative.
Circa 1900 Stoneware Mug from the Burton Ale and Porter Brewing Company in Saint Louis Missouri. Also pictured is a saloon stoneware advertising mug from the William Wm Kiefer Saloon, also in St. Louis, MO. These are both very hard to find. The Burton Ale and Porter company was only in business for two years from 1898-1900 before it went out of business. Pre-Prohibition mugs.
